It is depressing, but not at all surprising to people like me or teachers: i.e. those who have to administer tests to candidates. This laziness has always been there. ChatGPT has made it easier to be lazy.
I have many thoughts. Need to think more to streamline. But,
1. Impact of using generative AI on code quality of developers with varying levels of experience, expertise
2. Quantifying the amount of time taken to develop the code + QA activities with and without generative AI - This one should interest companies since they need to consider total cost of using such tools.

Very interesting observation. An easy experiment (randomized trial) can be conducted on the platform for causal analysis.
